         Mailing Lists
 Discussing
         Internet Governance.
 .One
of the best ways to understand the controversy over the
domain name system is to read postings from the mailing list
servers (listservs) dedicated to discussing DNS issues. In
most cases, email from a subscriber is posted to a computer
server that automatically reroutes that email to all the
other subscribers on the list. Sometimes the traffic can get
         hot and heavy.
Offered below are the mailing lists
referenced for compiling the DNS report for Esther Dyson in
1997. In addition to these, for a more current index of the
DNS mailing lists, rather than reinvent the wheel, please
let me refer you to The
         Domain Name Handbook.,
         which includes: Click
HERE to go to the DNS listserv page at The Domain Name
Handbook.(Thank you, Ellen Rony, for permission to post these links
         here.)
